The SkyFiTM Wireless N Access Point (WAP) puts two solutions into one lightweight, compact unit, saving you time and money. The included software lets you change the function of your SkyFiTM whenever you wish to adapt to your specific application and changing network environment. It offers the same versatility, high capacity, security, and industrial-class features demanded by aircraft and marine wireless LAN users in a dual-band 802.11b/g/n solution.

Wireless-N Access Point Mode

In the Wireless Access Point Mode, SkyFi allows for any existing wired network to go wireless at blazing 300Mbps speed! Simply attach the Wireless Access Point using the Ethernet connection to an open port in your router or switch and enjoy high-speed wireless networking. You can also use the Access Point to cover “dead spots” in your existing wireless network by placing the unit in a cabin zone lacking wireless coverage.

Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge Mode
The Wireless Ethernet Bridge Mode enables any wired Ethernet Ready device to connect to your existing wireless network using SkyFi. Connect your PC, phone, printer, portable mobile device or even an entire wired network to SkyFi and establish a wireless connection to your wireless network. The possibilities are endless and the “driver-free” installation is simple.
